Yoga & Guided Meditation

Yoga is a physical, mental and spiritual practice that originated in India and has been around more than 5,000 years.  Yoga is not just a workout or exercise.  Yoga works the mind and the body while focusing on the breath.  Yoga improves balance, strength, flexibility and fatigue. Yoga helps decrease blood pressure, reduce tension, relax your nervous systems and helps with  focus. Yoga helps to improve depression symptoms by increasing serotonin levels.  

Guided Meditation is a practice in which one or several people are led, step by step, by a trained practitioner through a meditation session.  Guided Mediation helps to reduce and relieve stress, anxiety, sadness and depression.  It can also help with pain management and promotes healing.  Guided Mediation helps to achieve balance: mentally, emotionally and physically.
